Hey guys,
Just thought I'd pass on some information for anyone interested.
Rocky Mountain Drift Club will be running again this year! For those who don't know what that is, it's a small pad in Claresholm (45 Tigermoth Crescent Claresholm, AB T0L0T0). Really simple, grassroots style fun! Typically tons of track time, bring lots of spares.
Spectators are free, just sign the waiver. There are no grandstands, so bring a lawn chair!
Media is welcome. Follow the rules. A high visibility vest is needed, there are some available but if you have your own please bring it!
Right now the schedule appears to be:
(10am - 6pm)
April 1st April fools kickoff
April 22nd
May 13th
May 27th
June 10th
June 24th
July 8th
July 22nd
August 26th and 27th drift camp weekend
September 9th
September 23rd
October 7th halloween bash
Tech requirements:
All lug nuts and wheel studs.
Factory seat belts. Or harness's with a cage or bar.
At least a DOT approved helmet.
No leaks!
Must have a proper coolant reservoir.
Battery must be properly secured down.
Any non turbo cars must have a muffler.
$80 for members. If you aren't a member it's $40 for the entire year. All payable at the event via cash.
Solo and tandem driving is allowed.

NOTE: If you do come to participate or spectate please be respectful in the Claresholm area. Drive slow and quiet. Keep the fun on the track please.
