I've eaten at a few KFCs worldwide (UK, USA, Canada, Spain, France, Portugal and Belgium) and honestly find the quality in Canada to be the worst of them all

Haven't tried Fridou but Mary Browns is amazing...always reminds me of Church's in Vancouver.
There used to be Church's in Calgary years ago. If I recall correctly, the 7-11 store chicken is also Church's.Quote:

But the original Church's back in the day just crushed KFC.

All I can think of while reading this thread is Cartman dealing the colonel's finest
I wish they had a live cam in there to see the action haha
I just drove by there. It didn't seem too busy. A group of 6 people eating?
Anyone been to the Cluck n Cleaver?
Fried chicken i go to olive downtown. But that 7-11 fried chicken had my mouth watering everytime, never tried it yet though.
Cluck and Cleaver is good but Korean Fried Chicken is more flavorful.
I think you used to be able to get it from Harvey'sQuote:

I do enjoy Cluck and Cleaver but I really like the Hot and Sweet or Extra Hot from Olive Chicken
Olive Chicken and Wow in Kensington FTW love it
I like eating room-temperature korean fried chicken, particularly from yum yum. All the oil has solidified, you bite into it and it all just oozes out in flavor. Still crispy.
we tried fritou in canyon meadows, and it was pretty good. a tad salty, but not bad. not greasy as other places, for sure. definitely call ahead unless you want to wait 20 mins for fried chicken!
We had a Korean joint open up here recently. Seoul Fried Chicken. Been here a few times. Always busy and long waits as they cook to order. But totally worth it. So good. And they got a few funky flavors. Their Corn Fritters are like crack. Its like a mochi fried up with corn, crunchy and chewy.

It's funny how everyone is raving about Korean fried chicken, but when I was there a few months ago, they all seemed to be about the KFC :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:
It was easier to find a KFC than coffee :nut:
But I will say, when we did have the real deal, it was.....mediocre
Didn't know these existed - all you can eat KFC buffet, link, and people are rallying to possibly save it.
