It's here to stay guys. We only got a slight break due to recession. We are now back on track. Sure the unrest threw a bit of gasoline to the fire but consumption isn't going lower any time soon.
.
Gas in the American NE (NY,NJ) have gone up as well. We typically fill up for ~$2.70/gallon (69c/litre) in Jersey. Last night the lowest price was $3.16 (84c). Prices in Manhattan were hitting $3.75 (99c)

Demand elasticity people...
At some point demand will collapse to near zero when fuel hits a certain price. It doesn't go up forever and it will not stay up forever.
Guess what I'm trying to say is... No. $3.00/L is not just a "misunderstanding away."
.
It's possible we get another recession and back in the dumps oil goes. Demand destruction always wins!Quote:

Q. How much do propane conversions cost?
A. Currently propane conversions cost anywhere from $2,500.00 to $6,500.00.
Which even at my rate of gasoline usage (high) is still roughly 4 yrs worth, at a 20c difference from what gas was..
Thats why you buy one already converted:D
