Only 3 tutorials you need to attend...The case tutorial, the midterm, and the presentation tutorial...
Attendance is mandatory (I asked him, and he considers it in the group grade). So attend!!!
MARKS UP!!!!!
I like how it says 6 business days after the exam...that means we should have gotten our marks by December 24....They're just lazy at marking. I know it is a lot to mark, but they have like how many...
100% Agree!!!! LOL
It's sooo simple...Email the prof with the concern. They will look into the issue and reply back with the final result, whether it was an error or if the student did in fact make a mistake and the...
Anyone know how long it usually takes them to get us our final Marks for MKTG 317 in the Fall semester???
Is the final exam cumulative?? Is it really easier than the midterm??
This sounds really interesting. Where would I find information on this?
I really appreciate all your help everyone!
At this point, If I just stick with finance, only 2 econ classes i've taken so far won't count towards it. But if I want to take the double degree still, i would have to take 9 more econs.
Also, are senior Economics courses much like ECON 357 and ECON 359? I was thinking of taking ECON 471, 477, 537 and 405.
Hey Everyone! I was hoping to get some advice from the business and economics students out there at UofC.
Currently, I am in the BComm/BA stream in Finance and Economics. Now, I am debating as to...
That's good to know!! How did you study for it? The problem I have is that I read her notes and get a false sense of security going into the quizzes / midterm. Any tips??

Hello All!
Hoping to get some advice from the UofC Business Students. I'm in ACCT 323 right now, and I'm kind of worried. Right now, as it stands, I need to get AT LEAST 75% on the final to get a...
Get out of here! Not the place to post crap like this!
Yes, that is very true...but for applying for grad school, schools only take the last 20 courses, so as long as this course is not taken in their last two years at school, no one cares.
I really hate to bump this thread, but this is not right. When u retake the course, they take the higher grade, which the undergrad office told me, unless someone has written information from...
Hi Everyone,
I have STAT 217 with Gemai Chen next semester (Winter 2012), and I was wondering what you guys think about him?
Is he good, bad, easy, hard, etc?
I really appreciate your help...
What does everyone thing about Gemai Chen for STAT 217????
I really hate to bring alive this thread again, but I need one thing clarified. Is a D+ in STAT 217 good enough for Haskayne pre-requisite for FNCE 317? All it says in the course details is...
who u doing ur internship through?
Well...I got a finance job and no one asked me for a GPA...it's all about the personality. Remember...your not going to get a job that makes over $60,000 right out of graduating...you gotta start out...
lol...who cares...
lol...keep dreaming Mount Royal people...Mount Royal "University"....takes more than a day to become a University. Your still getting a college degree and employers know that :P
It depends on what your major is...If your taking like a Psychology, Religion, or some weird major like that where you just plan on going onto a masters, the minor in management and society is...
When I graduated with a BComm in Finance and a B.A. in Economics, I probably went to 15 different job interviews. None on them ask for GPA. Cause really, just because you get a 4.0 in school, doesn't...
FYI, companies could care less about what your gpa was. Ultimately, it comes down to the interview and to see if you could actually sit in school for 4 years to get that degree.
Sorry kaput, but you didn't finish with 2 degrees....you finished 1 degree that has two majors on it...two degrees would be a combined degree (B.A., BSc)
Nice try though
