Picked up my camera from spikers a minute ago -- looks great.
Thanks again for doing this! Will review if/when I buy another supercar and get it hardwired for some review footage.

Call Craig Gillespie - www.cuminggillespie.com I believe. Also no charge to just talk to them and answer all your questions.
And unfortunately one of the worst / most-unreliable transmissions ever overall -- or I also would have had one many times over by now (but opted for a C63 instead).
You can easily pick one up...
:werd:
ETA on commencement / payment collection / delivery? Even a vague "ballpark"?
I've had lots of fast cars now (just sold my C63 AMG also). I certainly get into the torque for a quick blast now and again, enough to make it worth owning for sure -- but I also drive (slower) cars...
Yup... that's what I was trying to get at.
You can get used to the performance of a car and it does eventually lose some of it's fun-factor based on the raw acceleration / shock factor... but the...
"Beastness" is a constantly moving target, but driving engagement only seems to be constantly reduced with newer cars and less involvement.
There may always be someone faster, but you don't always...
Would love to man. I will throw up a couple pics in this thread when I "pick er up" in likely a week or two.
Just purchased a 997 Turbo manual yesterday... last of the manuals & Metzger GT1 race-derived engine. Everyone else can have their granny automatics ;P
Though admittedly I am very jealous of...
Thanks, will give them a call (when these bad boys come in).
In for the Marcus 3 here as well.
Is there a place in town anyone would recommend to do the hard wiring for me?
Okay, rounded out my XBone collection...

Exactly why I noted above that if he had have impacted, its extremely like he never would have taken any blame as far as the law is concerned.
Of course, so why does everyone in this thread...
At the end of the day, you haven't provided any LOGIC substantiating why the blame should be shifted onto snowcat, you've merely suggested that he didn't give due care to the pedestrian & that this...
If the guy would have run right into his path, snowcat is under no obligation to show anyone the video; and guess what? It was a green light.
No fault of his as far as the law is concerned....
Even if he did, there was no collision and he made the point.
Regardless of his choice, shouldn't any danger in the situation should automatically be blamed on the person who is breaking the law,...
I imagine he would try to stop if it was a truck, for his own safety.
In the original scenario, however, the highest consideration of his own safety is to ignore the moron jaywalker that he...
I am, and I don't nor have I ever been on a motorcycle.
I just have this magical ability I like to call "thinking" and/or "putting myself in another's shoes" where I can imagine how feels to...
Accelerating up to the speed of the road isn't "driving like a douche"; it's the type of thing you do quickly to be considerate of those behind you. He didn't "rip" out of the alleyway, and what the...
Excellent contribution there.
I don't suppose you read all that typing, and would like to point out what I said that wasn't unique or was wrong in some way?
Thoughtful points and arguments there. Clearly, you have come to more logical and intelligent conclusions than I have. :nut: :poosie:
No they won't. They'll have forgotten about it in 5 minutes completely and go on driving like airheads blissfully unaware of what's going on around them.
IF, however, the odd person dramatically...
Personally, I couldn't agree more with snowcat on every count -- I'm impressed by Elliot's post there.
I've had numerous people attempt to drive right into me out of sheer negligence and not...
I absolutely love Mclaren, love the F1, so I hate to have to agree with you but...
I do. :( :banghead:
It looks so bad I just couldn't... force... desire for it, even if it did 0-60 in 2...
Drag race tells you next to nothing about the performance of these cars (more about who got the best launch), and is a great way to knacker clutches, diffs, and transmissions when you have well over...
Same could be said about Audi but they seem to be selling plenty of 250k R8 GT's, and 180k R8 V10's just fine :)
Completely subjective, although I will agree that fewer people would find it...

I agree that it's not good value for the money.
I do like the side profile & loooove the sound it makes in a tunnel.
There really isn't a car on the road that you can purchase for <$250,000 that will beat a used 40k C6 Z06 with fresh Michelins... on a track.
Once again, performance loses it's relevance as budget...
I wasn't referring to you or anyone specifically, I've seen people ragging on the LFA in several different car forums.
Of course there are better performing cars. That could be said of ANY...
Yup. I truly don't understand the morons that just don't "get" this car either. Everything but the transmission is wonderfully engineered.
They just kind of rushed it out the door/ran out of...
Definitely can relate to setback after setback just when it seems like you'll finally catch up on work.
Good luck with a speedy recovery.
Might go here and casually "ask for air" in my Z tomorrow to see what happens. (Close enough to my route anyways.)
Can't believe the guy would just start going overboard on you like that after...
Although I sold my NSX last year, I might bring my supercharged C6 Z06 if that's alright?
I posted a thread in this forum years ago exact same thing happened to me:
http://www.andrewkicksass.com/images/5608_216989575388_3878528_n.jpg
I waited to confront them and got a profuse...
For the same 35k budget I'd stretch it a bit and go for a 996TT or nice NSX.
Same "older, classy, quasi-exotic" type class; and much less worry about reliability, resale difficulty, & issues in...
Yup. I'd come if there was a decent 1.6 / CSS tourney.
SOLD, please close thread.
