So a month and a half ago, I was chatting with the Hublot CEO and North American Sales Director on a Hublot watch idea that I had come up with, a model that doesn't exist, but would be the perfect sports/daily watch for me. I showed them photoshops of what it looks like, and after a bit of back and forth, they happily agreed to build it for me!

Fast forward to today, the NA Sales Director was in town to chat with Calgary Jewellery (who is now a Hublot dealer) gave me a call and I met up with him and chatted about Hublot and watches, and check out some really cool stuff that they had. We get to Calgary Jewellery and to my surprise, my custom built watch had shown up this morning!

So, here she is, my 1 of 1, Hublot "Beyond" Bang haha. Its a full ceramic case, with a carbon fibre dial, silver and red details, and a rubber strap with a crocodile outer skin on the strap. Unfortunately, I only had my iPhone with me, so the pictures are crap. Will take some real pics shortly!

    Wrist shot!

And of course, the Hublot Sales Director brought some really cool stuff for me to try on. The Bullet Bang, made out of the same material used to make bullets and armour. Gangsta!

Hublot King Power Unico. The only one in North America, has the new Unico in-house Hublot movement.

Can't wait to see more pics.

What movement does the Beyond Bang have? Are they keeping this as a one-off, or are there any plans for more?

Just a thought, but a limited run of the Beyond Bang that could somehow benefit a charity would be really cool.

Though having 1 of 1 is also really cool

It has the HUB44 movement, same as most Big Bangs. This is a one off watch, 1 of 1. This is not going to be a normal production run watch.

I thought about doing a limited run of watches for Beyond, but I don't think there are that many people willing to drop that much money on a watch. Maybe in another 10 years haha. The Porsche Club of America recently did a limited edition TAG Heuer watch, 55 pieces for 55 years. Would definately be cool if Beyond members can support something like that.

Anyways, here's some more pics I shot earlier tonight with a real camera...

I'm an idiot and I got water damage on my TAG Formula 1 Grand Chrono......I went cliff jumping and forgot to take my watch off, and the crown must not have been secure.

Is it fucked? I'm scrared to take it in for servicing, the watch guys is going to punch me in the face.

No he won't, he'll hug you for keeping him in business.

Years ago I went snorkeling with my Tag on and it leaked. The salt-water ruined the movement and the dial.

Does that watch have a screw in crown?

If not, is it still under warranty? If under warranty, it should be covered.

    yes, screw in crown.

I'm not sure if its still covered, after trying it on and pricing it at a few stores I found it on amazon.com selling from amazon and not an amazon seller for 40% off so I bought it....I'm not sure if that voids the coverage though...hmmm..it was less than a year ago

The F1 line uses quartz movements, so it's cheap to fix. The movements itself costs anywhere from $20 to $100 plus labour so it's pretty cheap to repair. Any local watchmaker can fix it.

Since you bought it off Amazon, there is no TAG Heuer warranty on it. It'll be cheaper to fix it locally than to send it off.

It's a wall clock. I'm thinking of buying some chains and wearing it Flavor Flav stylez.

It looks like you can kill a man with that thing.... I think you'll need heavy duty chains!
