Almost an accident. The guy in the blue audi almost smoked the truck. May have been better in real life.


As for the camera, im not really sure how much better you can get and this evidence is better than no evidence if I need it. Mainly I just want it for cool bombing around videos. Haha

I have the same unit, got it today, when i turn away the len the video willbbe upside down ...

I'm still not seeing how the blue Audi even remotely came close to smoking your truck.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think he was referring to how the Audi almost hit the white van, that was pretty close!

if the screen and the len on same direction, it will be fine.
when the len turn to other side, picture will be upside down..

Okay makes sense now, I see that type of shit on a daily basis that I didn't even pick it up on the video.

It's when the Audi is turning right in this video he gets uber close to the van in front of him and you can see him brake check a little to keep from clipping the corner of the van. It doesn't nearly hit his truck.

OK one step closer to having it permanently mounted. I am not sure who invented double sided autobody tape but I love that man.

This camera has a really nice swivel lens that actually points in almost any direction. Nice thing about that is there is almost no stopping how you can mount it. I mounted the screen facing down which is nice since if I really need to check the angle I can. I actually mounted it to the bottom of my GPS sensor so hopefully it still works. Next on my list is to figure out how to hard wire it. Only easy way I have found is to buy a Garmin kit off Ebay or just make it myself. I am most likely going to fab one up myself with an old USB adapter I have sitting around.

One thing I should mention. I am not sure if the video will be upside down or not. However it doesnt really matter as you can rotate it quite easily. Worst case is that the timestamp will be upside down. It isnt hard to rotate it horizontally if it starts to bother me. I just did it this way so it was closer to the wire right now. I will probably check the video before I hard wire it in. Also I do have to move my remote starter/alarm receiver it is showing up in the shot with the blue light too. May take it apart and take the LED out.

if you wanted to go through the effort and manually start it every day, yes... kinda defeats the purpose of set it and forget it.




I just got mine in the mail yesterday, messing around with it, looks ok... i am gonna give it a try today... seems like it should do the job well though.
