It's a warehouse that was converted into 5 retail bays with residential spaces above. We're in Inglewood.

The stairs going up lead to a master suite that is open.. its about 650 square feet. You can see the closets from the one pic. From there, you go up thru the hatch to the rooftop

Holy that is perfect usage of space! I love it!

My house is so bare bones right now. 1700sq.ft for my cat and I. So much empty useless space.

We wrapped rope around the furniture and used a makeshift pulley system to get it up the 40 feet. It wasn't fun..... The furniture wasn't ridiculously heavy though, so that made it a little better.

Our last house had similar square footage, but it didn't get used because the lay out didn't suit our needs. We use every bit of space in this one.

Thanks man... I'm very fortunate. Hopefully next summer I will get a chance to enjoy it. This summer was a write off for us.

The retail on the loft? We paid $718, put another $25k in renos and it was assessed right after the renos for the insurance co at $783k. But that also includes the retail space at the base of the house too. It's all on one title
