Saw one in Monterey during car week. Not impressed. Doesn't look like an NSX any more. I hate the fact they gave it a beak. The old NSX was a game changer that forced the higher end brands to be better. The R35 GTR could be considered the modern equivalent. The new NSX is just another car, nothing special in my mind.

I like it. It think it looks great, performance seems up to par, just price makes it unatainable for normal people (at least now with Alebrta sucking ass). I will stick to my 10 year old junker.

Saw a blue one at SEMA and I loved the way it looked!

I think it looks all right. It's not an original design or anything but Acura copied enough styling cues from other cars to at least make it look somewhat exotic. Sounds like this car can be tweaked a lot via software so while early reviews have been underwhelming there Honda can easily change the handling characteristics going forward.

We heard customers and reviewers saying that the NSX could be called boring. We at Honda were ashamed to hear this. Those comments were proof that we did not work hard enough. Our brand is not, and never will be, about making cars that can be boring.

We want them to be conclusively boring.

As such, we've just released a software update which will de-tune the ICE and its purpose will now be only to power the electric motors on the front wheels.

Anyone talk to a dealer about these yet? I spoke to a local dealer who had almost no information, but was willing to save me a spot for a premium. I have doubts that they'll be sold that quickly, but I do want to see how crazy the prices get before doing anything.

I tried getting on the list, it's a big deposit that they're asking, and I'm WAY down the list. Figured if I really wanted one, I can wait a couple of years once the insane demand subsides.

I don't mind the deposit, but I don't want to put a huge deposit down and then still wait a year to get an Acura. I'll just see how it plays out.
