When do y'all start watering your lawns?

When I worked in a rental store in high school we always told people to power rake when it's completely dry. IMO it's too early for that.

Also Aeration should wait until there's no risk of frost because of the exposure to the roots. Everyone typically does it super early, we recommended June. Also the ground needs to be damp and soft. So also shouldn't be doing power rake and Aeration on same day...

Damn, i dethatched my lawn a few weeks ago and i have green coming up like crazy already. Dethatched and scotts lawn food and its coming in super healthy. I have a south facing yard that gets alot of sun so March is usually when the rake comes out.
