2016/2017 Ski and Snowboard Thread

Ah that's brutal. I didn't mean to call it but he was skiing lines that had absolutely no room for error, and after a while everyone makes a mistake or the mountains make it for you.

It's creepy that I was up there the week before him. I was peeping Mt Victoria, there was literally like no snow. So there was this + whatever fell that week. This is looking down the death trap and to the skiier's left of it




There was this sweet looking chute above lake oesa though!





I always have a huge breakfast of bacon and eggs and then skip lunch. Granola bar if required during the day.

Big breakfast to get my day started then eat light through out the day, unless the snows mediocre then lots of beer breaks

Timmy's stop in canmore every morning! Bacon breakfast sandwich on a biscuit! If you aren't hungry then, throw it in your pocket and eat it on the chair later on, "Pocket Sammy!"

I eat a rockstar vodka for breakfast, then eat a good meal at 11, possibly a jug of beer if I'm not driving. We like to be there early and go home early.

Yep basically what I do too.

I can't do a big breakfast, the animal fat slows me down and then if you do scary things on the hill with a full stomach you want to crap your pants lol.

Vodka, bacon and rockstar are all recipes for disaster, anything else.

Ruin and Rose was terrible, any one else see it? So happy the saturday movies made up for it, Level 1 and Good Company were amazing!

The Friday 10pm crowd were so rowdy, I think the were ready to riot during Ruin and Rose. Had they watched the trailer they could have expected it. I didnt see the saturday films so ill find them by other means.

Where you headed? I got the RCR pass this year and expect to be in Fernie all winter.

birdman86 not many deals now, early summer is usually best. Everyone is stocked up with 2016/2017 gear now.

my family got in on the cheap passes for Nakiska. my kids are 6 and 5 so they don't need much advanced terrain. a quick drive and lots of hill time is more important right now.
