Doubt it will be available here, but looks pretty fun, top speed is a tad low I think.

138MPH on a good short-medium track is ample top speed i would think, remember this car was build to corner, not do a 200mph texas mile, while i agree that some courses u may top out (IF YOUR THAT GOOD) but it would be for a few seconds(longer courses) and then u have to brake anyway, rite?

$38,000 is a great price for a track car like this, engine would be cheap and easy to replace, just buy tires and brake pads. I want one.

Should be no issue since i found out there are at least 2 SR3's in Alberta already, saw pics of a pair at race city that means getting an SR1 into Canada should be no problem esspecialy as a track car only. Better start savin my pennies, i want one damnit lol

No Problem to bring it into Canada. You just need to have it brought in a as a 'Race-only' car, not for the street.

    Bang for the buck?

Buy a real race car instead of a 'trackday' car - a good formula 2000 car would happily run circles around it for about a third of the price.

If you want to run 'trackdays' and not conform to the rules of a given class, there are a lot of sports racer/formula cars that would be great choices

Motorcycle engine cars seem like a great idea - until you get tired of replacing engines all the time. not as cheap and easy as you think. also gearboxes and clutches are designed for motorcycles - they don't like the mass of a car around them. Dry sump have still not been perfected for the bike engined car either -so they
continue to have oiling issues as bikes lean and cars don't.

One of my teammates formula cars has five years of racing on it.
Total cost so far? one distributor cap and one water pump.

Not trying to rain on anyones dreams, Radical builds a cool car - just make sure you look around at the options.

MGCM - there are at least eight SR3's in Calgary/Edmonton and one Stohr which makes us all look like fools - it is almost ten seconds a lap faster.

Of course I am partial to my Juno now.......

    Just my 2 cents......

I probably took that picture...lol. There's a grey one and a Blue one in town that I've seen personally.
