Red light camera's don't bust you for left turns. So far as I'm aware. I've never gotten one, no matter how late my turn is (due to red-light runners coming from the opposing direction)

You only get a red light camera ticket if they have a picture of you before entering and after entering the intersection with the lights red.

The red light cam requires you to trigger two sensors, one before and one after the stop line. You are good once you cross the stop line on green.

I don't move into the intersection if I'm the second car. You never know how fast the first car is, he/she can screw you up by taking sweetass time finishing the turn.

I was taught that only one vehicle should enter the intersection. I have been inattentive a few times and entered behind someone who waits and waits and waits and eventually it's a gong show of them trying to back up into me.

I may eventually learn my lesson and follow my own rules . .

Do you enter the intersection if you're not the first car turning left? When I learned to drive, it was always just one car goes in, everyone else waits behind the crosswalk. Seemed to hold true in Calgary, but wasn't the same in "big cities" where 2-3 cars was the norm (I've seen as many as 4). Nowadays, I'll definitely follow through if I'm the 2nd and consider it if I'm 3rd and know it's an intersection with a long cycle.

I'm not quoting everyone on my quotes but I personally was driving a car going straight, was going through, turned yellow and it turned red while I was going and buddy smoked me turning left.

I wasn't speeding, doing nothing wrong other than following a guy through a light that just happened to turn as I was on my way through.

that guy got nailed with all kinds of things, I, on the other hand got an immobile vehicle, no tickets, but still ended up in jail that day anyways lol (unrelated to this accident).

Yaaa, I was on my way to work and then right up to the mountain for boarding, but that didn't happen lol undrivable car, plus I got arrested AND my father in law had to eventually bail me out.

plus my boss laughed at me when I called him and told him I wasn't coming in because I'm in jail. it was just...the worst.
