Inspired by Hamilton timepieces from the 70’s for the British Royal Air Force, this 41mm watch features Super-Luminova hands and markers, a domed sapphire crystal, a fully sandblasted stainless steel case and a tough nato strap giving it a classic rugged look.

    Default Hamilton Regulator

The most recent release from Hamilton is the Jazzmaster Regulator. 'Regulator' refers to watches that display hours, minutes and seconds on separate dials. The purpose of original regulator watches was to draw attention to the minute hand and ensure that the hands rarely, if ever covered each other.
The Hamilton Jazzmaster Regulator is no different, but the layout features a unique design with the hours and seconds displayed on diagonally overlapping sub-dials.

    Default Skeleton

The long awaited Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic Skeleton has finally arrived!

The H-20-S automatic movement lies behind a sapphire crystal displaying a brushed skeletonized rotor, an intricate ‘H’ pattern on individual elements and showcases components such as the escapement, hairspring and barrel. Housed in a brushed and polished 40mm case, the skeleton doubles as both a sleek understated watch while being a conversation starter among fellow watch enthusiasts.

    That skeleton is awesome......

Question regarding that and, watches in general. I have never had a leather strap, how do they wear? Is it advisable to buy one or two spares when you first get a watch to avoid having one wear out and the original then be unavailable?

Not sure why you want to keep the original strap but leather wears alright; unless you like the fitting tight.

Creases will appear on that notch.

It also doesn't pull out armhair at random times.

Well there may be other straps you changed to I suppose but, why wouldn't you want to have the original?

Usually when people want to replace a strap, they don't like the original one and discard it or sell it on eBay.

Constantly changing straps is a PITA unless there's some sort of quick release built into it haha.

    Ahhh, got ya.

I don't sell nice things once I buy them so I always think long term. Like in 20 years if I give that watch to my son, I want it to have the original strap. I'm not a hoarder.....

    sort of!

    Completely understandable.

On a semi-related noted, something is coming my way for Christmas this year...

There's a valid reason why I didn't go to Justin and the reason is in this thread somewhere.

    Sorry I missed this!
Unless its a really odd strap, you'll be able to find an oem replacement years after watch itself has been discontinued.
Leather as always will show signs of wear, best ways to extend its longevity is to avoid getting the strap wet and getting a deployment clasp for it. This way you're not pulling and stretching the leather every time you put the watch on.

Deployment straps are so bulky and uncomfortable I don't know how anyone does it.

    Tang style is best IMO

I really like the deployment clasp on my Jazzmaster, but I hate the one on my Couturier. It's hit or miss.
