    Default Tissot Watches

To go along with the Hamilton thread, here’s a Tissot mega thread for us to discuss all things Tissot. I’ll also be posting as new models arrive.

As the official timekeepers of MotoGP, Superbike, IIHF and others, Tissot is committed to respecting tradition, underlining its core values of performance, precision and setting new standards.

I know what you mean. I went by the other week just to have a look. The Beyond discount makes it even more tempting.

Question for either Justin or anyone with a Tissot.

I am going to be looking at a Seastar on Friday but I have been reading about a lot of issues on various forums. Have the issues with the chipping or discoloring bezel or with it being fast or slow been solved by Tissot since last year?

Also, I assume that both the chrono and non-chrono versions can be equipped with the SS band?

Also going to be looking at the PRC 200 chrono/non-chrono.

I can't say specifically on public forums, but feel free to contact me if you're interested.

I haven't had any of my customers come back with issues with the Seastar bezels or auto movements, but I'll email Tissot to find out if they've gotten a higher number of warranty claims on the Seastar.

Yes, both the auto and auto chrono's are available with either the rubber or stainless steel straps.

    Default T-Race

Our next featured Tissot is the 'T-Race'

As an official sponsor of the MotoGP, Tissot created the T-race watch with design features inspired by motor sport.
The black PVD bezel is reminiscent of a slotted brake rotor, with the date bubble and crown protector designed to look like a caliper.
The T-Race is available in a range of colours in Automatic chronograph, quartz chronographs and ladies chronographs.
The full collection can be seen here:

I think it was $895 for the quartz.
Unfortunately all 2012 Moto-GP Special edition models are sold out.

    Default Tissot Tradition Perpetual Calender

Our next featured Tissot is the 'Tradition Perpetual Calender'

Powered by the new G15.561 quartz movement, this Tissot makes perpetual calender functionality affordable.
The analog perpetual calender means you never have to manually change the date for the 21st century.
With the guilloche texture on the dial and the retrograde day, date, month sub-dials, the Tradition has a vintage 50's style housed in a modern 42mm case size.

Went in for a Pilot and came out with the T-race, really happy with my choice =D
Justin is amazing to deal with and super patient considering I got sidetracked like a million times by the sheer amount of awesome things in the store.

    Default Le Locle COSC

Brand new from Tissot is the Le Locle COSC.
The all automatic Le Locle line has been offered for a few years now and with its classic style and easily wearable 39mm case size, it's been a huge success (I wear one )

New for 2012 however, is a chronometer certified Le Locle.
In a nut-shell, from the COSC website:
A chronometer is a high-precision watch capable of displaying the seconds and housing a movement that has been tested over several days, in different positions and at different temperatures, by an official neutral body (COSC). Each chronometer is unique, identified by a number engraved on its movement and a certification number given by the COSC.
Each movement is individually measured. Any watch with the denomination "chronometer" is provided with a certified movement.
Forbes magazine wrote an interesting article about the new Le Locle:
