I can't believe this is happening again
^Honestly at least there's some progression. Arash make a youtube video of your manufacturing process!
Guys pls keep the thread on topic
It's the same N/A Z32 you're using again right? Why make a new thread when you already have this classic:
Too much donair in that one :p

Nice work arash..looking very Ferrari 360 ish. You've come a long ways!
One of my goals is to get the best reflections also... here's a sample of the cars that I move around to find what I desire most.

Just ran into this... a car that I helped design.

Im actually also helping to design two separate track cars.

This workshop pic made my morning. Please post updates regularly.
My progress plans;
1 finish mid engine design (2 weeks+)
2 Test CNC (1 week+)
3 Carve 1/5 scale mid engine car (1 week+)
4 Setup vacuum forming station, create plastic shells of toy car
http://i.imgur.com/6kDqSDC.jpg
Phase two
1 Create 300zx 3D kit
2 CNC carve a full body (2+2) or only a front (compatible to both models) kit
3 Create molds
4 Create panels
5 Setup the best way to attach panels
I think to appease the Queens law, I can extend, rather then stretch, the chassis of a Porsche Boxster using a cradle, subframe for the rear and easily have a mid engine donor.Originally posted by gretz
+2, thank you Arash
I am curious though, and i'm sure you've already thought of this, but you cant manufacture body panels from photoshop... but I know you've got a decent 3D software / FEA analysis / CFD, etc For doing the mid engine layout... I can just picture the firewall

Shouldn't be too hard to get your hands on a boxer subframe /drivetrain, as well as the materials needed for extending (rivets are awesome for this)... I'm really pumped to see the dis-assembly of the vigor, but more so pumped for the CNC demo i've been waiting 4 years for...

Yes I would like to market them for as low as $30 and sell them in mass numbers if there's a demand locally. One 1/5 scale wheel could be as much as 30 bucks itself but Im going to play with plastic pipes, vacuum formed hubcaps, and rubber pipe fittings for tires to accomplish this.Originally posted by roll_over

I currently have a Tonka XT which I'll be using as a donor... they dont sell these at ToysRus anymore but the shells would fit them if anyone wanted to upgrade theirs.
As I respect religion yes its welcome, Isreali shills can also order it but the question is would they want a kit where advertising its creator will bring more to the illuminated side.Originally posted by Hallowed_point
Are Isrealis/Shill's permitted to order one of your creations? Can I get one in blue with a "star of david" on the door panels? She looks okay... but seeing how shes was to be involved in U.N. politics... in Chavez's words, I smell the devil.Originally posted by ExtraSlow
Also, Arash, what are your thoughts on the new Mrs. Clooney?
I think my previous work had more artistic value then that.Originally posted by benyl
This car is way better than Arash's. It actually exists. haha

I hate fiberglass so much that Im going to experiment with large vacuum formed panels and then easily dump some fiberglass in to reinforce and strengthen it. They make track panels this way... but it may be a problem in Vegas heat!Originally posted by mr2mike
didn't look at fb link. But are you moulding these panels with 1000lbs of bondo and ghetto style or creating moulds and having panels created from those?
This is all I can think of.

I am always getting j***d out of my money there...
I wouldn't worry about that market if i was you!
what the fuck is happening over here?
Seeing the new Lambo concept caught my curiosity to shorted the ZX rear... all possible as the cutaway parts are not structural.
Also the lower mid-engines designs hold Ferrari and Lambo silhouettes... Im not sure which I like best of those two.
Shorter front overhang which looks to balance better overall.

Kind of reminds of the F-Type Coupe.Originally posted by Arash Boodagh

If you're going to make anything Arash, it should be this.
After seeing the new Lambo concept I thought I should keep trying a shorter rear... and I really like it myself too.
It also looks like there isnt any hard structural chassis in the way... it would be very possible!

Looks great..the rims are a little too funky funky town for me though. You've certainly got an eye for exotic styling.Originally posted by Arash Boodagh

Thanks, I wasnt thinking too much about the rims... here is more play on the mid-engine.

Well I for one am convinced. Love the name

A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.
