The air duct feeding the radiator is not blocked, but we'll see. I'll add air holes to distribute circulation but lessen the exposure to water.

The SPi mini has a radiator that's 90* to the front, and located beside the wheel fender. It has a fan that runs off the water pump of the engine, but it has a second electrical fan on the far side of the rad that turns on when the heat is high enough. I've never seen cooling issues with this push/pull setup.

There was actually a Mini out at the last event in Red Deer and he was having major overheating issues as soon as it warmed up even with an aftermarket electric fan setup

Do you know who it was? Now that mine's rebuilt, I plan on coming back out. Dat SM life though.

I always gas up at the half way mark so no fuck ups. AMA Gold is also permanent fixture for the 928 and the Mini.

Funny about overheating, we had an Austin Mini as our family car when we first came to Canada, and all I remember from our roadtrips to Vancouver was that after every hill we had to stop for 1/2 an hour because of overheating. Took us like 16 hours to get to Van from Calgary lol.
