Well I spent the day with the random orbital, used compound and polish. Even though orange hides imperfections very well, I'm very happy with the results! I think it looks pretty good for 5 year old <$1000 home paint job.

Going to apply wax tomorrow morning... for the first time, opps haha.

A few more things and I'll be ready for Driven yyc.

Great job. The car looks sweet. I'll bet there are a lot of guys envious of your ride, but even more wishing they had the same opportunity to spend quality time with their dad.
I'd vote for him. America may have a black guy, but we'd have captain fucking Kirk.

    Well Finally home...
Driven was great! I drove home this morning and on the way home for some unknown reason I decided to attend another car show haha.

Anyways... Still working on pictures from Driven, will post them in the pic thread that was created when done.

Thanks Beyond for the opportunity! I was shocked to be considered for the show and was super excited when accepted.

I was even more shocked when I got an award... definitely wasn't expecting that considering all the insane builds that were at the event. I ended up winning Judge's Choice, I forget how they explained it but it was something along the line of for a vehicle that didn't really fit a category but the judges felt the work done to the vehicle and the owner of the vehicle deserved recognition. I think something like that? Either way I was blown away.

Again, thank Beyond! Hope to do more with you guys!
Congrats to the other 3 booth members that took home awards and all the beyond members who took home awards. All well deserved.

I spent a lot of time looking at your car at the booth, probably the most time of all cars looking at all the details. Very impressive. Congrats!

I spent awhile pouring over your car as well, and I went through your photo album. Very nicely done and congrats on the award!

Thank you! Appreciate it, was pretty excited to see your car. Definitely one of my favorites. You stance is bang on, I much prefer yours over the full tuck.

    Hola.

Not much for updates, been busy with work and trying to sell my DD Focus. Hoping to get back in an F-150 and decided to just stay with buying used to avoid payments. So... hopefully I'll be able to do some fun projects starting in the fall. I want to focus on details such as interior and engine bay. I'm also keeping my eye out for wheels... even though I love my silver bullitts they're way too common.

So I'm on the look out for legit wheels, not in a huge rush. If anyone wants to keep an eye out that would be appreciated. I'd like a lighter colour (prefer silver paint, no black and not typically huge on chrome) set of staggered wheels with a deepdish rear or maybe concaved. 18" or maybe 19" wheel with 5x114.3 and I need atleast a 70.3 bore i believe... I'm happy with how my front fits so i need around a 9" wheel with +24. I have a lot of room in the rears to fill, currently they're 10" +20.

Anyways, played more with my camera.

    Good news:
    -sold the focus
    -bought a 2007 f150

    Bad news:
-new truck just got minor hail damage.

Oh well, it'll get fixed. I'm very happy to be back in a f150 after 2 years. I miss my supercharged 10th gen, but I enjoy how large the interior is in this new truck. Also the 5.4 makes good power. So far the truck has catback exhaust and a CAI. My only plans are to permanently fix the common issues. I'll be ordering headers to fix the exhaust leak and also gut the cats. Then change the spark plugs out and hopefully do a permanent cam phaser fix.

I hate how much I love this thing in orange haha.

    It's usually a color I can't stand.

But honestly I love everything about this car!!!

    Super original build love it.

I know cars are never "done" but is this where you want it or is there big plans for it still?

    Thank you! Appreciate it!

The car is very far from where I want it... definitely a life time project.
Right now I'd like to focus on interior and engine bay details. But I would also like different wheels and moar low. The bullitt wheels I have are my childhood favorites and I think work well on the car, but they're too cookie cutter. I would like to find good quality wheels that aren't typically seen on mustangs.

Then from there... have lots of ideas haha. Try to keep a balance of actually driving/ enjoying the car and doing big projects.

Anyways, couple of more recent pictures. I've been practicing lots with my camera, but always forget to shoot my own car

Also, I was able to register for illmotion. Car will probably be a bit out of place, but oh well Will be fun!

The wheels do work well on the car. But what style were you thinking for something different?

I have always loved the look of CCW's on stangs, but that might still be a little too cookie cutter for you.

Car does look great the way she sits right now though!

I like CCWS except I probably wouldn't do the normal ones that people do on mustangs like the classics.

I've been tossing around the idea of work wheels. Might be a little cookie cutter in terms of import, but I dont know many mustangs on works especially my generation.

Right now I'm not in a huge rush, just keeping my eye open for a nice used set. Which is unlikely for the staggered combo that will work on my car. Maybe in the spring I'll look at wheels more seriously.

If you are spending CCW or Work $, what about Forgeline? They make some great wheels that would be custom to your ride.

These would look different on your car...

But maybe not in a good way.

I think I prefer CCW for anything custom. Forgelines aren't my favorite

Also, i think I prefer these wheels over the ones on the fox
