Anyone have any ideas for what to put on it, has to be for a fictional highschool trip and look pretty official.

find an old slip form someone in your school, then duplicate it changing the date, time, name, and location using MS word, should work good luck

K I'm gonna make it a trip to Edmonton for grade 10 students excelling in Social Studies or English. What are some places in Edmonton they could visit.

They leave on Friday the 18th, back on Sunday the 20th.

They could visit the parliamentary building

SOCIAL 30 PREPATORY FIELD TRIP

On April 18th 2003 a select few future Social Studies 30 students will be embarking on a two-night field trip to Edmonton. During this time the students will be subject to many educational opportunities and also some fun. We will be leaving on Friday April 18th, and returning on Sunday the 20th. During our stay in Edmonton students will visit the parliamentary offices as well as other provincial government buildings and landmarks. The students will also be given free time, albeit supervised to visit West Edmonton Mall and enjoy other attractions in the city.

Any ideas, what should I change, what should I add??
I'm tryin to figure out how to add the CBE thing on the bottom. As well as add some other little things. It'd also be good to know the name of a Hostel or something. Melinda you went to beaverbrook right? I'm tryin to make this look kinda like a beaverbrook slip. Where did u guys stay, and what class was it for?

Man, I used to print stuff like that (and report cards too) cuz I had a whole stack of official CBE letterhead Those were the days...

any help is much appreciated. I would scan one myself but can't get the scanner to work, and I'm not in highschool anymore so it's hard to find one.

Haha, yeah, for the report card I had to scan it and edit the numbers and take out the creases, hehe, turned out pretty good though... I wonder if I should be admitting to this, no harm was done though.

I was wondering why you'd need a permisiion slip to go to a grade 11 field trip

The old-fashioned way is to just cut out a copy of the logo (old report card) and glue it to a blank sheet of paper.
Then photocopy the sheet, the photocopier will make the seams vanish. Voila, blank letterhead.

Actually I went to Western but yeah, same kinda thing. What you have there looks pretty good, just break up the paragraphs a bit. Try this format:

Dear parents,

The students in _______'s Social Studies 10 class will be going on a trip to Edmonton from *insert date here* to *insert date here*.

We will leave the school at approximately 5:00 PM and make it to edmonton at approximately 8:00 PM and going right to the best western hotel at *insert adress here*

Our itinerary for Saturday will include a trip to the Alberta Legislature to meet with *name politican or tour guide* to talk to him/her so that the students can increase their learning about how the provincial government works.

We will be spending most of the morning and early afternoon there before going to West Edmonton Mall where the students will have the option of shopping, swimming or going to the amusement parks.

We will be leaving Edmonton at approximately 10:00 AM Sunday and are expected to be back at the school around 1:00 PM.

Please complete the below information to allow your son/daughter to come with our class. Please be sure to check the additional box to give them permission to swim while at the mall. (there must always be permission to swim, it's a totally different permission thing) Keep the above information for your own knowledge.

Then make up some crap permission thing at the bottom in a special "tear off" area. (so that parents can keep the itinerary)

There, if that doesn't work, then you're screwed. I used to have to make these permission forms as captain of my cheerleading squad for all our competitions, shows and outings. Never once had a problem with authorities.

me too, i found it sitting in a pile and took it.

When report cards came back, we made new ones for a friend during our computer classes. haha
