Vinyl is good for simple panels such as roof, hood, trunk. Those still look great on my car. It's when you do a full wrap and have to deal with lots of non flat surfaces such as bumpers, that's when you get tons of peeling.

I know the guys out at Spy Design in Okotoks, they've done a ton fo wrap jobs (I think they even did Rage's?? and I know they did all those Smart cars that Tunerworks built). They're a good crew. Check out their Facebook page for pic's of their work.

Assuming you don't know the guy at all and you're just coming off the street, what's a good price to pay for vinyl wrapping?

Assuming you're from Atlanta and assuming you'd get your wrap done fairly local to the Atlanta area, I would assume that a Calgary, Alberta based forum is not necessarily the best place to get suggestions on how much a vinyl wrap is going to cost where you're located.

But one could also assume by your sig that you're not really here to discuss anything automotive or Calgary related and once could also assume that you don't believe the posted forum rules regarding advertising apply to you. One could also assume that forum etiquette is not one of your strong points either as made evident by your bump of this thread.

Now if I assume that my assumptions above are way off base, then I can only assume that some of the Beyonders that are more knowledgeable in vehicle wraps will be more then willing to help you out, but one could also assume that you have some web savvy smarts as you were able to put together a sig that had some links in it and as such, I could only assume that you have heard of Google, no?

C'mon now, you're assuming he's a spammer, but I would like to assume that he's into more than just the guys.

Get your money back man... There shouldn't be ANY peeling if the edges/corners were properly cleaned and had primer applied. Also, if the vinyl wasn't properly cast after its been stretched that will also cause it to break away from the original surface.

For $3-5k or whatever if cost you to get that done, I would be furious if it started to peel so soon.

Looking for a suggestion for a full wrap in Calgary. ZR does trash work, need someone who takes pride in their work

Looking at some of the comments, it's clear that rage's wrap was shit. I wrapped my own M3 flawlessly several years back and the vinyl lasted over 4 years and 35,000km in close to perfect condition. You just need to find somebody who knows what they're doing.

Might as well chime in on a plus 1 for who is doing good wraps these days.

Thinking I might matte wrap (XPEL stealth or similar)the c63 to change things up (cheaper than buying a new car?).

Anyone know if you can get a good ceramic coating over a matte wrap without ruining the finish?

There should be some that are good for matte. Gyeon and carpro have ones for example:
    http://gyeonquartz.com/product/matte/
https://carpro.global/catalog/cquartz-skin/ (PPF in general but talks about matte and satin wraps)

Cool, that would go a long way to help my anxiety over maintaining a matte car.

So, you've got the cost of the wrap, then the cost of the ceramic, you are going to be $5k down by the time this project is over brother. Keep that economy moving!

Just buy a new C63 with Carplay and Android Auto support.

Also, it could be the last C63 with a RWD V8. MB will not rule out next C63 will be based on inline six and AWD (53).
