I know the magic of video/internet can make anything seem possible. But assuming no trickery, this product looks amazing.Originally posted by flipstah
If it's manual, I can see that. Otherwise, lmao rofl. Not even interior pics.
EDIT: Whoa, I can do this:
^ I might buy that kit and try it out. Keep you all posted!
Meanwhile, this exact thread is my issue today:
http://rennlist.com/forums/928-forum...rear-cold.html
So I'll have to read up on it and see where it takes me. Freon is fully charged, and rear AC is cold but front AC is hot. Also, the alternator is getting defeated by the AC, so it's not charging efficiently or something.
Also opened up the headlamp 'relay'. I use quotations because this is not a relay. It's more of a circuit lmao. However, cleaned up the contact points using sandpaper and flux cleaner. Good to go again!
RISE AGAIN, POP-UP HEADLAMPS!
Alternator is finally charging well and constant. Wiring issue resolved.
After months of backlog and waiting, Porsche wasn't able to make me lock cylinders. Womp womp.
I'll be digging around Rennlist with alternatives.
As for the car, drove to Invermere, BC for the weekend in the rain. Need to buy wipers as they disintegrated before my eyes as I went faster. Ol' gal can still handle fast.

That last picture....
It just looks so right in the rain haha...

It was the first trip past city limits. I had the whole kit:
- Tools
- ATF
- Oil
- Booster cables
- Water
- Food
- AMA
I'm happy that it ran so well. Although that massive rainstorm on Hwy1 made the ride back a little nerve-wracking.
that second pic is now my desktop background haha
well done!
Haha nice!
Latest issue to tackle: Coolant leaking on the radiator, and looks like it needs a flush as well.
Sigh.
Watch out Don, there's a shooter on the roof (or he's drinking coffee).
Also what is that green car with the white top?
He's capturing the 928 in their usual stance: hood up.Originally posted by D'z Nutz

That would be a Karmann Ghia shell (no engine)
Had a photo shoot with a herd of black sheep
Is that 924 a turbo? Looks like it has the NACA duct on the hood.

Summer is back! Which means, radiator came off and was able to find the leak via soapy water and compressed air. It's a hairline crack between the plastic coolant reservoir and the metal.

New radiators are 900USD so bought some JB Weld to see if it'll hold lmao. Waiting for it to cure.
