Default Battery died - How to unlock my Civic radio?

I have a 2010 Civic and I left an interior light on for a couple days and it killed my battery unfortunately. Got er back up and running, but I'm locked out of my stereo completely, and when I bought the car they forgot to give me the manual where I would expect to find the unlock code.

Googling suggests I need to call Honda, but is there a way I can do this myself that will take less time? I know with BMW you just need to do some routine with the key, but I can't quickly find how the Honda unlock works.

Anyone know if I can do this myself or if I need to go to the dealer/call Honda?

    Thanks!

Often you have to remove the stereo and give honda a code on the unit itself.

I'd start by phoning a honda parts department and going from there.

Usually the owners manual explains how to enter the code. The code is often in the owners bundle but is impossible to find, expecially for second or third owners.

The code is in your owners manual/folder and its not hard to find.
A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

The code is sometimes on a sticker in the glovebox.

Happened to my mom a few years ago in her civic, went to t&t honda the next day, and all they asked us was for proof of ownership. This was like 2ish years ago

In my 2004 civic the code is in my trunk straight ahead when you open the trunk. kind of under the rear speaker area..
