    Default Your Main Grocery Store?

Saw in the Target thread one guy wants Superstore to exit Canada...

Made me wonder where he buys his food.

Please answer with your one MAIN (go to) grocery store.

edit: derp, I missed costco! And "Calgary" is supposed to be "Calgary Co-Op"

Should probably add CO-OP to the list. At least with the one downtown, they have way better produce than Safeway so I always go there.

Nevermind I see you changed it now.

I got kicked out of the Farmers Market one time when I forgot my monocle with Jeeves in the Silver Phantom. I'd have gone to get it but the rickshaw I ordered to take me back to the car was lined in non Corinthian leather. Disgusting.

Sobey's because it's close. Also it's pretty good.

I go to Safeway 98% some the time, two locations close to my house and I get the same groceries everytime so it's in and out. I despise grocery shopping.

I don't grocery shop, but according to my wife's receipts...

    50% Co-op
    40% Costco
    10% Superstore

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Co-op where its at so I voted Other.

Also people should really stop shopping at Walmart with the way they treat employees. /Rant

Superstore, sometimes save on now that we moved closer to it.

Has anyone compared prices for sobeys, co-op, Safeway and superstore? It always seems like superstore is the cheapest. Is that accurate?

Costco? They don't even serve Grey Poupon with their hot dogs. Disgusting.

There is a Safeway between the office and my house for when i go shopping. Similar deal for the fiance. I go to Costco and make a big binge every few months.

Groceries is not something that i see worth going well out of my way to save a buck here or there.

I go to safeway as well, cause it's right on the way home for me. Do my best to only buy things "on sale" there, cause their normal prices are crack prices. Overall the produce seems okay.

Tried the Co-op that's also near my house. My gf and I were so disgusted we just walked right back out the front door. Inside it looks and smells like a homeless man's nutsack.

if save-on was closer i'd shop there, went to the one in seton when i was stuck in that hell-hole known as cranston for a week and was really impressed, its like they actually care about the stuff they sell... very strange concept... but safeway is a block away, its a really shitty safeway even by safeway standards, but what can you do

Kinda funny if you switched Co-op and Safeway you would describe the ones by my place! (minus the comment on prices, safeway is terrible for that)

Save on now but previously Sobeys. I just go to the closest store (unless that would be Walmart/Superstore) then I would drive to one of the others.

I buy everything at Co-op Beltline because it's close to my house and they have awesome produce.

If you want good stuff, shop where white people shop.

Everything is so clean and organized.
