This is the reason why Microsoft built Canada Central and Canada East data center for Azure.

And good thing US government lost the Microsoft Ireland case, otherwise having local data center by a US corporation won't matter.

Wait till you see the Meraki prices. It's going to be $1000/phone after adding the cloud license. That doesn't even account for monthly service costs yet.

Don't even think they have video calling yet.

Also, their cost is nowhere NEAR their MSRP. We have a standard 15 point margin and the MSRP makes us look like heroes every time.
Anything B2B, MSRP always has 15-40% margin to move depends on volume and size of client/order.

I used to enjoy 50% off HP MSRP on all server gears. Now at a smaller client it's only 30% off MSRP.

    sort of a bump.

50% personal use. 50% business use. No need for access constantly but do need access through internet. no cloud... so only option would be NAS? Where should I go from there?

I wouldn't say your ONLY option is a NAS - but its probably your most practical.

Get a low end Synology or QNAP RAID 1 setup, (most will offer web connectivity) connect to AWS Glacier for online disaster recovery and youre all good.

like a TS-251+ Cloud NAS w/ 2 SATA III Bays to get started? the HD I can always upgrade, just wanted a decent infrastructure with minimal bloat.

Yep, cant really go wrong there once all the backups are in place (local and AWS).
