    Road to Nepal?
    Drumheller?
    Inner city cafe shops?
    We have some options
I've never ridden in Drumheller, would be a fun trip.
South of Calgary has some phenomenal roads.
Road to Pakistan -> Plummers Road -> Hwy 762 -> Bragg Creek -> Springbank Road is a sweet loop of around 110km.

Road to Nepal is awesome! I usually do a loop around there which is about 75k and 1000m climb. It includes a segment that was part of the Tour of Alberta in 2014 and is super fun, with nice distant view of downtown. It's crazy to see the Strava segments of those riders averaging 40+kph. Hwy 549 was also paved at the end of the season.

Road to Pakistan?? Lol. It would be cool to know of more routes > 100k without much double back.

Here is the ride we did last weekend:

    https://www.strava.com/activities/914469164

Some small bits of gravel in there, but all easily ridden on a road bike. It's more like hardpacked dirt honestly.

edit: Here is the slightly bigger version of the loop through Bragg Creek: https://www.strava.com/activities/533848765

Damn, that's a long ride to do unsupported. Do you restock for food and water at Turner Valley/Black Diamond?

On that particular ride I did restock water in Turner Valley. If I'm doing the shorter version (Plummers Road to Hwy 762 directly) then I refuel in Bragg Creek. I'm usually on 2x750ml bottles and hit Bragg Creek at the 75km mark I think. It's a bit of a stretch but doable.

Impressive. I'd mapped that out before and decided that was a bit too much. Shame he took 22x instead of going SW out of the city and hitting some of the nicest riding in the area.

Weather forecast still looks good - only two people confirmed so far though?

I'm riding on sat regardless. If it's only the two of us, it will be more flexible to change the route as we go. Do you still want to ride at the same time and area?

Absolutely. If the weather is as forecasted I'm OK with doing a longer ride followed by a beer or two.

Would like to join you guys - but I usually have pretty specific pacing requirements, which makes it tough to ride in a group unfortunately.

My coach has me down for a 2h35 ride, 1/2 hr run on Saturday.
    1 hr (Z2), 2 x 30 min @ 90% FTP in aero (5). Cool down.

Will likely ride 262 to Cochrane, then head towards Ghost. Make sure to wave at the aero tri-geek, and I'll catch you another week.

Sounds good. I'll be wearing a pink helmet
My workout for Saturday will look something like this:
    - Hills at > 2xFTP until legs fall off
    - Flats and downhills at up to 70% of FTP
    - Coffee

LOL. Sounds good. I've had a crank fall off, not my legs yet though.
