    Thanks for the onward code, I called their customer service and it is still valid for Calgary (it says on the registration page to call and check so I did...)

    I was just reading through their terms of service and found the following:
    The Driver shall not:
    a) use the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that could
    adversely impact his/her ability to drive; drinking alcohol and driving is strictly
    prohibited (for alcohol, a zero-tolerance policy is adopted and a limit of 0.0% applies);
    b) allow third parties, other than the Member or Driver initiating the Rental Period, to drive
    a vehicle (this also applies for persons who are themselves Members or Drivers, but who
    did not initiate the current rental);
    c) use the fuel card to get gasoline for vehicles other than the vehicle to which the fuel card
    is assigned;
    d) use the vehicle for cross-country drives, motor sports events or races of any kind;
    e) use the vehicle for vehicle tests, driving classes or to transport persons as part of a
    commercial operation;
    f) use the vehicle to transport flammable, poisonous or otherwise dangerous goods for
    other than household use or in amounts greater than what is usually consumed in a
    household;
    g) transport objects with the vehicle that could – due to their size, shape or weight –
    adversely impact the vehicle’s handling safety or that could damage the interior of the
    vehicle;
    h) use the vehicle in the commission of a crime;
    i) smoke or use tobacco products in the vehicle, or allow passengers to smoke or use
    tobacco products in the vehicle;

    Page 7 of 12
    April 19, 2012 j) with the exception of guide animals accompanying a Member, Driver or passenger with
    a disability (which guide animals must be stored in an appropriate animal carrier), take
    animals into the vehicle;
    k) excessively soil the vehicle or leave trash of any kind in the vehicle;
    l) remove objects that are attached to the vehicle or form part of the vehicle’s equipment;
    m) having more than two people sit in the vehicle; and
    n) personally perform or authorize repairs or any conversions on or to the vehicle.
    Nice, no smoking

    Unfortunately, no motorsports of any kind

    So much for the strangest auto-x ever

    As far as those rules goes, it looks like I canb still use the car to transport propane tanks and cylinders of welding gas.

    I didn't get mine either, but my boss did right away. I am on Rogers, he is on Bell. Maybe Rogers is blocking these guys as spammers or something?...

    2006, diesel, 85k, $25 to fill and he gets 3 weeks of driving commuting from 37th/Glenmore to City Hall every day

    How are people saying this is expensive? The idea is you likely live close to downtown anyway.

    For me to drive a Car2Go from my house to downtown, I pay $1.75-$3 depending on traffic. To take a cab there is $7-$9+ tip, bus or train is $2.75.

    Works great for me.

    And chances are if you park it at your house and end the rental, it will still be there in the morning. Unless they go around the city at night and collect them.

    Yeah exactly, it's not meant for an all day rental. It's meant to go from point A to B and leave it or run a quick errand.
