If it's got the suspension and hadles right, I bet it'd be worth every penny.

Wow thats sweet... but I wonder if the V-8 up front wieghs much more than the stock engine? That will probably throw off the weight balance a bit...

Yah, thats a hot ride! I've never really been a fan of pontiacs - probably because of all that ugly plastic cladding most of the older models seemed to have. The latest generation has some clean lines, and the solstice is just another good example of it.

Anybody on here driven one yet? If so, how's the ride and build quality?

GM said from the start of this car that it was designed around the LSx based engine, among others. The LS1 is a potent powerplant, compact and light, I'm pretty sure the Ecotech engine is not much lighter overall.

427CI is not to hard to get, 600+rwhp on pump gas with daily drivability and reliability is not uncommon.

My LS1 346ci makes more then 400rwhp, with over 300rwtq at 1700rpms and it revs over 7000rpms. All it has is head/cam and exhaust...

That in a solstice or better yet a saturn sky would be sick

Reasons why Drumheller area wouldn't make a good race track venue...

That'd be too much competition for the Corvette if it came that way from the factory.

Someone posted another front end for that car that looked great.

I'm running just the LS1 intake manifold which is holding the show up big time. I do have a fast 90/90 sitting in the garage...
