I'm sorry I just have to ask.

What's the official or "professional" answer to the fact that most movies, films, TV shows, etc... when they're filming people in a vehicle, they remove the head rests???

I really want to know the industry answer all these years... my theories are:

- So it doesn't make the actor/actress head looks "big"
- So audience can see more of the background through the windows

That's pretty much all I can think of.

I don't know if there is really a professional answer besides the fact that it hinders the visability of the cameras. I do believe they also take out the rear view mirror as well -- can't remember.

Shit I've never even noticed that in any movie I've seen! :nut:

I dunno, but I'm going to remove mine, get into an accident, and sue hollywood for 4.5 quadrillion dollars because they made it look safe in all their movies.

Seriously though, I think it's for both the reasons you gave, plus if they have a camera angel from the backseat, you can see the actor's heads.
