Not sure if this is allowed, but another forum I am a member of is having a valve cover GB. Deadline is April 15, 2008. Guy is located in Virginia, and hes not going to mark up for shipping. (to estimate shipping cost). Turn around time is est. to be 72 hours, but he is trying to set-up some sort of core exchange to help with the downtime. Will do either 5sfe or 3sgte VC. Cost is: 10 VC's - $65/ea 15VC's - $55/ea He will also do heat shield (~$45) and intake/IC piping, IM (~$125), etc (not part of GB) http://www.gsspowdercoating.com/ and http://www.mr2.com/forums/gi_shu_so...ure-thread.html

does he have gen3 valve covers for a core exchange?

Have to ok GB with site admin first...

Not worth it IMO, bring the VC to a bodyshop or top gun coatings if you want it painted. Lots of good coaters in Calgary.

I figured I would be ok, because I am not running the GB myself, nor endorsing it, I just posted a link to a forum where it is running to inform members looking for this type of service. If members with to participate they could join the other forum and go from there. I would not hold my breath on a 3rd gen VC core exchange. The turnaround time is only 72 hours though... I called topgun a few weeks back, and I was quoted $150 for VC and $90 for cermaic coating on my heatshield. Piping was $50-$65/ft depending on whether you want cermaic or powder coating. Also turnaround on powdercoating from them was 2-3 weeks (so I was told) Oops, I guess I forgot to link to the actual forum. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=57125

I do have one genIII valve cover for a core exchange right now for the one interested.

Jazz, because you are the one actually "in charge" of this GB you should contact an admin to "officiate" it.
