I'm looking at a 2005 Legacy wagon for the family. It's an 05 that has 90k on it already, but had been dealer serviced since new, driven back and forth from Canmore.
Anything I should look for? Anyplace I should take it for an inspection to make sure it's worthy? It seems like a steal comapred to others out there at around 17k

try asking these questions at www.legacygt.com...you will have a lot more people that know about issues with legacy's.

After a quick glance at the Canada Trader, $17g isn't THAT cheap. I'm assuming the one you're looking at isn't a GT.

GT's go for $20g+

get a second opinion if u dont feel confortable.

i know the last USED subaru i bought. the dealership (a subaru dealership) took me for a run. it was pretty bad, they lied to me about the condition of the car. DONT TRUST THE DEALERSHIP

Good looking car, but I don't see any other Legacy wagons like this for sale anywhere...

Thanks Tik tok, I saw those, but none cheaper than what I found already...once you go up to a GT, the price goes crazy

Smart move... I think the Legacy is, by miles, the best looking Subi (the new Impreza looks like an ugly Matrix).

Just too bad the new Legacy doesn't have stability control... major oversight on Subaru's part.
