How much for 3SGTE swap into SW20 NA? - Click HERE for Original Thread

randedge
The potential car:

High mileage Naturally Aspirated, LHD North American, SW20.
Hard top.
No RUST! California Car. Driven relatively mildly, so it's solid. If the body is indication, it was a point A to B car that a lady drove in very well maintained roads. No chips, nothing. Bodywise, the car is remarkable in this aspect.

The Drivetrain is high mileage though. Besides, 5SFE is underwhelming.

So, the question: How much does a 3SGTE swap go for? One with LSD transmission preferably.

And who can do it in this city?

Thanks.

Theres a guy named Orlando who does LOTS of toyota stuff, and i would go as far as to call him the toyota master, so pm me and ill give you his number. He used to go on here by twinchargedae86 but i dont know if he does anymore

Gen 3 is the one with at leats 245 horse right?

How much is clip with LSD?

..then of course there's install too. I've no place to do it, so it would have to be someone like Orlando - I've met him bTW, and he's the first person I thought of when I thought about a swap.

I would do it for you, but i am SWAMPED, and my garage is going to be tied up for a few more months while my customer gathers all the parts for his 300zx twin turbo swap. The deal was i could take my time on it, but i kinda shot myself in the foot didnt i (=. Orlando is A+++ in my books

i think ghettobaby is selling his 3 gen stroker still, you should talk to him.

Rob in Edmonton does the swap for $1500 might be a bit more cause yours is an NA but I could be wrong. Go with a gen3, only way to go.. they range from 3-4K.

I second that Orlando is a Toyota master for sure. If you're looking for honest reliable work he is the one to go to. I would suggest talking with him if you're interested he can give you all the details.8

What about making an AW11 MK1.5 then?

Who in this city can do it?

bmeier's was done by steve and bought by some BC guy and now has made its way back here as driven by RyanC.

Who else can do it in this region? And how much?

PM Mr2Mike. He did my Gen2 & gen3 for bascially peanuts. He even polished my car for me and vacuumed the interior without asking.

Top shelf service!!

Go start that S2000 Owners Club site already!

I'll swap engines. No vac or polishing.

I'll never do this over the winter. Early spring before the rocks are off the road.
