I have just finished a build on a 92 tsi awd and its ready to be started. My problem is trying to actually get this thing working.

I hadn't heard much about this ostridge program and seem to have gotten over my head with the tuning of it. Previous to this system, i've always had a maf, this program uses speed density and wires up to a gm 3bar map.

Has anyone here got experience with this and a program to tune it?

im not sure if you are talking about the same thing....but an ostrich emulator, it just emulates a chip being in your ecu while you tune so you dont have to make a change, take out chip, reburn, put back in the car...etc

in order to use it you still need a tuning program as well.

Thanks for the response.

I've got it to work and yes we are talking about the same thing. The ostrich 2.0 will allow for on the fly tuning and is basically the equivalent to an aem or vipec or some of the other stand alones. The program online is free but I was having trouble opening it, turns out it was just my java program was messed up so i couldn't open the files.

Now that it is sorted out the car is that much closer to operation.
