So I have decided I want some more power out of my SR20. 1. How much power will stock internals hold reliabley? 2. If I was to get a GT2871R 0.64, what would a safe boost be to run at? 3. Should I upgrade my 370CC injectors to 555CCs? 4. Should I consider a full build, and at what price? 5. Any other things I should consider?

gt2871r, z32 maf, 660cc or bigger injectors, power fc, 17 pounds of boost, stock internals and typical bolt on sr20 upgrades will get you up near or a bit over 350whp. like ottamania said though if you want to go fast make sure you have the footworks to handle it safely. Coilovers are a must

Plans are: ISIS Downpipe ISIS Test Pipe GT2871R Kit 555CC Injectors ISIS Intake Manifold Kit S14 Throttle Pulley Wheel Cometic 1.01mm Head Gasket And I already have other parts installed. Brake upgrades are in the near future as well. Just need to test my compression first. Do you think I should look at a upgraded waterpump?

I ran 14psi on my 2871 last year and it held up just fine. injectors are a must and you can get away without the power fc. but it is recomended. for the cost of a full build it is not worth it. in this stage of your car. Whenver the SR blows up is when I would do a build. thats what I did. on a poor tune I still do high 12s in the 1/4. yeah without some decent suspension you wont be able to handle that power as well as you could. thats my next step in my build.

I remeber running against your 240 this year. Popped a vacuum line lol, I was going into the race knowing I had no chance, but mechanical failure helped me out! I already have a decent suspension set up, and im going to be doing minor brake uprades soon too. Had no problems on the road course this year. Already have a 255LPH pump, AFC, FPR, FMIC, Boost Controller, Cat-Back, Intake etc, so I have a decent base to start from. I need to do a compression test first though, hopefully its got decent compression still.

lower boost = more reliable Im shooting for 12psi, just gonna try to squeeze power out of other things like headers

yeah I have since solved that problem. but my transmision is messed up now.
