View Full Version : Am I Too Low? | Kw V2 Content

The Garage Queen is finally out for spring and coilovers were installed this weekend! Let me start off by saying that i'm very happy that i went with coilovers and not just springs. The KW V2's are just awesome! The car feels much more grounded and responsive. Even being so low, the car still feels almost exactly like it did on the stock sport suspension.

What do you guys think about the height? With the current settings i don't rub unless i have to go up curbs or speed bumps or over bad train tracks. It is pretty hard to get it into the garage now so i am thinking i may raise the front a little bit. I haven't decided about the rears yet.

Tons of new mods to be installed within two weeks, so i am going to make sure that the car will get a proper photo shoot when it is out of the body shop and i've installed everything else. Thats why there is no aero lip anymore and why the reflectors are missing in the front bumper.

Stay tuned for more to come soon, here are a few snaps from today. Enjoy!

Looks hawt and sits nice, wouldnt lower it much more at all just due to drivability. I like the stance

I would put it up just a touch.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but could you also go with a slightly more aggressive offset?

Nice car!

Nope not low, looks great, but I think it would look a little better with a 10mm spacer on the rear. Low looks great, but flush looks even better. Nice job!!!

Personally, I would raise it up just a little for the sake of driveability. Plus, IMO it looks just a little too slammed.

Lower + spacers + lose the wheel caps.

I agree about the wheel caps...the red doesn't really flow with the rest of the car.

Looks great though!

Ever going to take off that bmw service tag?

Car is meh -way to low, rims :thumbsdow: I also think alpine white is way over played. Incredible vehicle though. Was it you with the lsb e46 m3?.. ?It may have been. Anyways, loved that e46.

It's about time you took it out. Needs to be dropped maybe one more inch. Plus you need spacers and roll the fenders abit oh and take off the caps. Other wise it looks good. Who put on the springs? Murcia?

Alpine white will never be played out! imo one of BMW's best colors.

The car was at the dealer the day before, i forgot it was there until my girlfriend mentioned i hadn't taken it off yet. It's not something i'm trying to show off lol.

Well thats why i made a thread. I was thinking that maybe it might have looked a bit low myself. Yeah i had the LSB which was sold back in 2008.

An inch? I wouldn't be able to turn the front wheels. Their not springs, if you had taken the time to read the original post or even the thread title you would have noticed that they are Coilovers. They were installed by DJ_honda.

I would raise it a touch. I am not quite as low and have a hard time with a lot of driveways. With the MTech kit I would imagine you would have the same issues.

Yeah i think mtech front gets me a little lower then the OEM bumper i have on right now. We'll see, i can adjust it when the bumper is on. By the way, i loved your car. I Saw it this weekend when my coilovers were getting installed. E90 M3 Supercharged= SICK!

Never mind that they weigh a ton. If I'm spending that kind of money I'm looking for something extremely light.
