My front bumper cover is getting pretty worn (curb, rock chips, and there's a nice crack by one of the fogs) so I'm trying to see what's available. Here's what I have so far:

Stock:

M3 Style:

M-Tech (available on the 328 from BMW):

I'm at a loss for trying to find anything else that isn't a "stick on" cover...Racing Dynamics and ACS are both the "stick on" variety. The MTech is what I really want but at $700 a pop they're retarded expensive, and the M3 bumper is overdone on non-M cars. Does anybody have a recommendation other than what I've posted? If I stick with stock, I think I'll just pick up one from the wrecker here and get the RDSport lip for it.

I'll keep that in mind, but Bimmer-parts.ca is up in Duncan, and I can probably score an as-new one for about $75. I doubt you could ship it for that much! I'll let you know if I can't find one though.

It looks like the M3 Lux bumper.

better consider the final cost as i have just replaced mine with m3 style bumper @ 340 $ and painting @ 200.
for me the m3 look is much better than stock look.

What about adding a lip to this bumper? I'm going that route but just have to locate an add-on lip or splitter that I like..... BTW I don't know what bumper mine is-it doesn't seem to be a common one for non-M cars....

I think yours is a pre-96 non-M bumper, they're pretty common. Any lip that fits a 96+ should still work since it has the same profile.

Er, yes, I have a budget in mind. It includes the new front bumper/lip combo, side skirts, M3 mirrors, new glass for the mirrors, paint, and 3M film. I'm going to get a pair of fenders too and spend the summer doing the body work on them as well.
