Hi guys

I'm not 100% sure this is where i should post this but here we go

I have a 91 Isuzu Impulse RS that has a Haltech E6GMX standalone installed, I can get the car started but requires a fair bit of work, I was hoping someone on here has good knowledge of Haltech tuning and maybe able to help, I'm willing to pay you for your time

If your car is AWD then Calgary Autoworks has a dyno that you need for tuning your Haltech ECU.

Sweet I Will send him a email.

I have been talking to Calgary autoworks and Chris seems to be pretty good, but they pretty much told me to build my own base map and then bring it in. I have a couple that other guys created and i found one that i can get the car started with, it just is really hard to keep it running. All the maps i found are for 660cc injectors and I have 1000cc

I was hoping to find someone to help me with the base map then I will take it into CAW

Yep toma can help you with that for sure. If you find a map for 600cc, is there an injector trim option somewhere? or can you tell it your injectors are smaller to compensate?

Sweet I will send him a email tonight.

As bad as it sounds I'm completely lost with this Haltech, The car was running 220cc injectors stock. When I installed my Hx35 I installed 370cc's out of a T-bird and the runs but it Idles at almost 2000 rpm and While under boost it leans right out. I have been searching every site i can for tuning tips but I'm stumped

Yeah I have a Zeitronix ZT-2 with the ZR-2 Multi Gauge

with the 220's i was at 14.6 at idle

yah, that sounds about right. Is this a plug and play ecu or did you have to wire it up yourself.

with the bigger injectors, is there not an injector size setting?

If it doesnt have that, you should have a map trace mode, so basically, there should be a little box, that goes over the current cell you are on as it idles...then you go to your fuel map and add or subtract fuel in that cell. Then have a friend drive the car at light throttle for you, and watch the map tracer, mark down what cell it is on, and what afr you had at that cell, and do the math as to what percent you want to increase or decrease fueling. You should be seeing around 13:1 on light cruise, 14.7 in closed loop. Do the math and input it into the cells as necissary

im not really familiar with the haltecs, so im taking a shot in the dark above haha. hope that helps.

It was pretty much a plug and play tuner, we had to alter the stock harness a little bit, but nothing to crazy. That info is perfect i will take a look at it next week once I'm back from camping in bc. If I make any progress I will shoot you a Pm and make sure a case of beer is heading your way lol

Thanks for the help
