hid wont light up

i recently took my hids out of my other car when i sold them and put them in me new vehicle and they wont even light up tried another set and still the same problem.. read that i might need a relay kit.. so i purchased one that connects straight to the battery for extra power.. and still nothing.. i hear the relay click when i turn the lights on but thats about it.. any input it would be great..

i doupt that.. has a fuse on the relay kit and i know its all hooked up properly

rig the ballast straight to the 12v battery, no relay kit

I test all my ballasts before installing them.

Polarity does matter, and some cars need them reversed for the HID to work. My honda required the wires to be swapped.

Honestly though, HID kits are generally super cheap in quality and are usually easier to throw away.
