The Mercedes will fall off during the race when they can't use DRS for the whole lap and when they burn off their tires.

Kobayashi had a great qualifying... out qualified his teammate. That Sauber has geniune pace.

Kobayashi not only outqualified his teammate but 2 Redbulls and a McLaren. Very impressive. I don't see Mercedes having the race pace either, but then again, I didn't see them having qualifying pace either.

Well at least this will shut all the Vettel fanboys up thinking he's superhuman. Outqualified 3 races in a row, this time by a HUGE margin, by "crappy" Webber.

The car underneath him last year was just perfect for his driving style with the blown diffuser, and he can't adapt as well without it. That and the RB7 was such a dominating car in terms of performance.

I think we all (including Rosberg) knew his time was untouchable after nobody could get within 0.5s of him after the first run.

Even though Hamilton said he made a mistake, it wasn't going to be a 0.5s mistake. Amazing lap by Rosberg.

haha pretty obvious I don't mind a Mercedes-AMG win. McLaren really needs to work on their strategy. They dropped both drivers in so much traffic today. Would've been closer to the front if strategy was better. Can't believe Rosberg made those tires last. Kimi hitting the cliff on the tires was crazy, dropped from 2nd to 12th in 1 lap.

End of the day, Mercedes powers the entire podium. Fuck ya!

Best race this year IMO. The wheel to wheel battles were intense and plentiful! My buddy and I were giving the high fives once Vettel started getting overtaken, even when Webber overtook him! :rofl: I don't like RBR and I was cheering for that overtake. :D

Tires. Tried to make a 2 stopper work, but those Pirellis once they are worn down, they drop 6+ seconds a lap. A lot different than the Bridgestone days where guys were running even the softs for over 1/2 race distance.

It was a great race. Good close and clean racing. It was a welll deserved race win for Rosberg. I didn't think the Mercedes had the race pace and apparently I was wrong. It looks like only Rosberg made the 2-stop strategy worked... others did ok with it... but with Button's problem at the pit and the subsequently got fed back into the pack, Nico was able to capitalize. I bet Nico running in clean air all race long helped his tires too.

I was surprised Perez defended his position so hard against his teammate, basically pushed him into the grass... reminds me of the infamous Webber vs. Vettel 2 years ago, except they didn't crash.

I don't think Button could have won, even without the pit incident. I was upset when he sounded disappointed. Either way, fantastic race. I'm still really excited for this season, I hope it stays this way :P
