Does anyone know of a company other than chargespeed that sells acrylic or lexan Hatch windows for a 240/180sx? I'm leaning more toward acrylic cause it is more scratch resistant then lexan. but I know lexan is lighter. I'm looking for a 1 piece rear hatch window. not a 2 or 3 piece lexan one.

Anyone got any ideas?

get lexan and mould it then 3M it to help prevent scratches

home depot sells lexan i believe. i think its called polycarbonate

someone correct me if im wrong

I think they do sell it, but a piece that big is special order. no problem. The 3m is a great idea though

If i went that route, I figure i just need to take my hatch window out and lay it on the ground, then set the lexan over top and heat it until it forms to the shape of my stock window. then install my CF hatch and rivet on the lexan. add a blower motor mounted in my hatch for defog, and there we go.....

But I'd rather find something pre made....

something as clean as this, but hopefully for a better price

that is more than I'm paying for the CF hatch straight from ViS

vis is cheap low end stuff. So using it as a price gauge is ..…

but, I agree, that is expensive, I would expect to pay half that.

industrial paints and plastic carries 4x8 sheets of acrylic

Now that's what I"m talking aboot. That's the price i was looking for. a little fabrication and that might work. I just gotta check that my window is less than 4 feet one way

I have a sheet of lexan that is enough for a S13 hatch, still wrapped. I bought a large sheet and it was enough to do 2. I did it on a CF hatch as well and rivetted it on. Lexan is much more resistant to cracking. I tried drilling small acrylic pieces and it just cracked. I'll try and find how much I paid for the sheet and give you a deal on it if your interested.
