For some reason spray tint realllly didnt work on my lights... it cracked the lenses on both... :(
Had to get em replaced.. Luckily someone had a set for sale in Edm for cheap... so i made a quick trip up there....cost me$200 bucks

I decided to cheap out haha, found a US vendor on ebay that had a roll of 24x120 carbon wrap listed for 16 bucks, it worked very well and seems to be holding out pretty good, so we'll see in the future!

Nice! what front mount are you running, and how long did the install take? I've never heard of the SFR tune, what's involved in installing this and what kind of additional performance did you see out of it?

just a cheaper one.. cx-racing, had to fab my own brackets hahah, and the intake took 15? minutes i think.

SFR is in the states, they specialize in only KDM vehicles! google em or look em up in the gencoupe.com forums!

wheel specs are 19x8.5 +15/ 19x10 +20 but im also running a 5 mil spacer in the back to make it more flush. tires are oem sizing to get a slight stretch 225/40/19 & 245/40/19

I think im done for the time being... or at least until next season hahah.

Looks good! Id ditch the CX Racing intercooler though, not because I am not a fan of "EBAY" Esque products but if you do any sort of prolonged driving in boost/racing, it will become a heat sink rather than intercooler. I have seen others install nearly the same "universal" intercooler core, and it simply cannot dissipate the heat fast enough.

yea he was, i was on his left, he changed lanes into me then tried to swerve back into his lane, and got hit/ran over by a titan, and then shot back into my back end.
Thats where he got his torn apart front end from. almost all my damage is from his wheel hitting my car

Ive been slowly doing my installs, but since my tune date is on the 26th i gotta get a move on and get everything taken care of.. for the most part.

I ended up replacing both the clutch and the flywheel, the clutch is a ACT 6 puck sprung and the flywheel is a fidanza streetlite both of em combined weighed half of what the oem garbage weighed lol.. unfortunately i didnt get pics of the flywheel before i put it in..

also put in the new injectors today. since im not currently winter driving the car it doesnt really matter if it runs well haha.

OEM vs Evo X injectors, evo injectors have a longer nozzle but it is a direct fit.

oh i also installed the megan racing tranny mount, i believe it is a 50a durometer rating? should stiffen things up a fair bit compared to the oem piece that literally flexes any which way in your hand

overall the install of the recaros wasnt that bad, had to get some square tube steel from home depot and modify the brackets a little bit. Height wise it sits almost the exact same as the stock seats, and there is about a 80+lb weight savings.

Now for the wheels, they are Avant Garde m510's bespoke level 1 19x9.5 +15 (was supposed to be +18 but i think they made em wrong, but w/e i can run a little more camber) rears are 19x11 +18. Actual color name is prism purple... but I like to call it Purple Panther Sex... cuz its just so friggin awesome.

Those are some crazy wheels for sure. Just wondering why you didn't start with the 3.8 though? They're around 260whp stock and come with LSD already do they not?

Negative sir, the 09-12 3.8s dynoed at about 240whp stock, and with bolt ons and tune the the highest that it dynoed was 270.. Whereas the 13 3.8 with full bolt ons and custome tune dynoed at 280-300. With the new turbo and tune i should be sitting around 300-320whp. And also the turbo kit for the 3.8 is 5g's US lol, i wanted the premium for the upgraded audio and the oem lsd still cost less than what it wouldve cost to get an r-spec.

Not at the moment no, i want to keep her somewhat comfortable since im not currently tracking the car, if in the future i do decide to turn her into a track machine then maybe ill start stripping the interior and getting cf parts.

btw if youve been to the meet youve probably seen it and wondered why the passenger quarter is all fucked....

wellp after the shitty bodyshop (precision autobody) fixed my car they didnt bind the outer rear quarter with the inner properly so when i did one pass with the fender roller they split apart and caused several large ripples. I tried to fix what i could but i ended up having to cut out a 2"x8" strip of the inner fender out so it wouldnt shred the tire. Its nowhere near how i want it to be but the shit fucking bodyshop wont warranty "modifications" cept no one would know what shit work they did if i didnt try to "modify" my rear quarter.

moral of the story, dont let your insurance pressure you into using their garbage ass bodyshop to fix your car.
