Is there a place locally that sells a chin up bar that can be mounted to my basement ceiling joists? All I can find using the google is all out of the states, or needs to be shipped.
Thanks in advance

There's a thread on beyond somewhere about using pipes from home Depot to make a pull up bar for pretty cheap. Do a search for pull up bar.

I did this. It was extremely cheap, and high quality. Also really easy to do, any idiot could pull it off I would say. All you need is a 2x4, a long piece of pipe, two elbows, two short peices of pipe and some screws.

I had one of those ones your hang on a door frame, i just fabricated a similar system to the joist. If you don't have one already then you can buy the ones in the previous posts.
