Omega 3 Fish Oil

So I bought a bunch of Omega 3 1200mg's last summer, take them semi-regularly. I just realized an interesting effect. It seems like every time I take 3-4 of the pills, I end up having to sh*t myself in a really, really urgent way. It could be something else in my diet, but this is the lowest common denominator so to speak.

Is this a common side effect of fish oil, or do I need to stop cooking with bacon grease?

Never had that problem but I drink the liquid form so not sure if that matters.

Never had a problem with fish oils. Maybe you're just prone to reacting to them? Or it's the bacon grease hahahah.

The only way to find out is to eat like 6 pills and see if you just spray your pants. If you do, you know the answer.

Never had that problem. Fishy burps is as bad as it gets for me.

I never have fish burps. I heard that if you're taking a truly good quality oil, you wont have them.

Do you take them all in one go?

This is the exact same thing that happened to me when I bought a huge ass tub from true protein. Near the end of the jug it happened.

Thought I was getting sick or something so I just stopped taking them for a month or so. Threw out the rest and bought some from Costco except I now break up the dosage. One in the morning. One at lunch. One at dinner instead of all three at once.

Never had that issue at all with fish oil. Maybe it could be something in your particular product. Try a different brand maybe.
