Description:
I bought this bike from Blackfoot Motorsports where all services were performed. The bike is candy red and black. I only put on about 700 km since purchasing the bike from the dealer. Both front and rear tires were put on very recently by the old owner (Michelin Pilot Power 2CT).
2007 was the new designed engine that Yamaha came out with. The bike had a slight face lift. The ram air ducts are larger and actually provide a proper ram air affect. The brakes calipers were changed. The front brakes use a 6 piston caliper with dual 310 mm rotors.
There are a couple of notable things about the bike:
-variable length intake runners for better torque/hp numbers at all rpm
-adjustable shift light
-slipper clutch
-hot bodies flush mount LEDs
-Integrated tail light
-Fender eliminator kit with led license plate light bulb
-Red Pazzo adjustable levers
-Custom GoPro mount behind right headlight
-186 hp with the ram air, 177 hp without :o
This also makes a great commuter bike. The extra torque from the larger engine makes city commuting much easier. You don't feel like you have to spin the engine up so much to get some passing power. I am 5'8 and i can touch the ground with both feet on this bike. The riding position is comfortable especially compared to the smaller R6.
