Cracked headlight

Hello. So I have a cracked headlight lens on my 04 g35. Now the HID isn't working.. Without replacing the whole headlight is there anything I could do to get the HID working again? Do HID only work as a sealed unit? Anyone have a or know of a lens for the passenger side up for grabs or a shop which could possibly repair this one.

The HID isn't working at all? Whatever cracked the headlight could have damaged one of the HID components.

Cracked headlight shouldn't affect the bulb; it is a sealed bulb in itself.

Switch the ballasts and bulbs (bulbs first) to see what is damaged.
