I reserved Battlefield at Best Buy, if they dont do the promo I dont pick it up :) Future Shop didnt have Battlefield 4 to reserve.

Reserved Ghosts at Future Shop and got email confirmation and phone call. The rep who called even asked if I was doing it for the promo tomorrow.

This doesn't make any sense. I reserved BF4 at Bestbuy and will upgrade to PS4 edition. My BF4 from E3 just shipped today but I will just return that if I can get this trade deal.

Edit: looks like it might be an error. It is a trade 1 but not any game. It is likely from the list they have weekly.

buying all these games for hoard, what they dont realise is that when they return the games, they all have to be on seperate receipts, as well as one game per person per store......and also knowing someone who works at FS, when you return an item it sits in a cart for a day until it's scanned, and verified and restocked....you wont be able to get your copy you just returned for a trade in.

Reserved my copy, and just got a call because of their system reserving 2 copies for me, stating I could only reserve 1 because of the event tomorrow. I confirmed with him that I could trade one of my games for it, and he agreed.

so, this is awesome.

Having said that, I would be pissed if I was one of the ones lined up for a midnight release and paid full price, only to have an event like this less than a week later...

According to best buy a pick up confirmation (which I got and a buddy just got as well) means your copy is held. I called to confirm at 5 and they said it will be held until 3:30pm tomorrow for me.

Yea fuck that. I showed up at 12 am for the midnight of release of gta 5 and there was still a line up. That was the first and last time I'll ever line up for a video game. It's a good deal, but I'm not going to line up in the cold for a video game.

They probably did that to sell the copies on classifieds so they still profit, but I can't believe how cheap the people on RFDs are. I mean, how much do you really make from buying 6 copies. Maybe it's just me growing up with cheap asians, so now it just annoys me.

Yes, that is true. But the way the rfd thread looks....it seems like it'll be a one day deal lol. Maybe Saturday evening and Sunday morning too if ppl with a million reservations get screwed and they throw the games back on the shelves after the 24 hr hold
