I cannot seem to find the type or value of this particular resistor labeled R426 300

It is unclear to me what serial number this is

Going to be tough to find it. De-solder and ohm it out?

is it a resistor or a potentiometer?

I googled the ass out of it and came up with nothing.

Maybe the number is on the other side. Although you probably checked that.

Looks like another crystal to me. Look up quartz crystal oscillators.

A resistor with a S/N? never heard of that for consumables, maybe a batch number at the very most

I agree with this especially if this is out of a reciever of some sort, my guess is 300 is the frequency, but not sure which band, the crystal to the right of it says 3KHz :dunno:

Yes I am almost thinking it is a crystal oscillator

This is the half of inside of a generic starter alarm combo remote by the way

ULTRA XL Start is the brand name and it is from 2003-2008 model

Definitely looks like an oscillator...

Why does all the soldering on that look so brutal by the way?

Lol the leads broke off and I tired my very best to resolver those tiny wires back

Ah I see. Chances are if it is an oscillator it would have been custom ordered by Ultra XL to meet some specific need. It is highly unlikely you'd ever find that specific of a frequency available at an electronics store.
