All upcoming games on EB Games website are listed at 69.99 now instead of 59.99. Sounds like Future Shop and Bestbuy are going to follow suit as well. Looks like it's Amazon or digital at this rate. 59.99 is too much for some of these games now a days, let alone 69.99..

Look at the dollar currently and then you will see why....
As of right now:

59.99 USD = 66.9514 CAD

Would be better for it to be $65 as it was on EB a few days ago, but alas. I still have a bunch of games pre-ordred from FS for $40 which is good but next E3 they will probably all be $50 :(

I can't remember that far back so I am not sure. Where did you hear FS and BB were going to match the increase? I wonder about walmart, costco, target etc. too.

Ebgames used to have a lot on for 69.99 back a couple yrs ago too. Then when they actually came out it was adjusted to 59.99. Not sure if the usd rate had anything to do with it...

Unrelated note; I remember the Christmas I got my N64. I paid for half of it and my parents paid for the other half.

Got Goldeneye with it, and was the happiest kid on the planet that day.
