For Sale (or possible trade, W.H.Y?) is my Kawasaki Ninja.
I have owned this bike since September 2012 and I am the second owner. The first owner bought this bike brand new in 2007 and barely used it due to working away a lot of the time, hence the super low KM's. It was on around 1700km when I bought it.
The bike was dropped in the previous owners garage, so does have a couple of scratches on the fairings, but they're not really very prominent. Never been in any accidents or had any paintwork done.
In my ownership I've had one oil change done, even though it probably wasn't needed, and will include another filter with the sale. It also had a brand new battery fitted when I purchased it.
Tires and chain are still in great condition (as you would expect with the mileage) and the bike literally needs nothing.
Its spent 90% of its life in the garage, except for a couple of months before I moved into my new place when I stored it under its own cover outside. I can include the disklok and chain etc with the bike.
I also fitted a few subtle mods to the bike. These include a Scorpion muffler, R&G Tail tidy (which utilises the OEM indicators) and a colour coded rear hugger. All the standard parts are available with the bike if the buyer wishes.
I actually sat my test on this bike as Alberta does not reciprocate motorcycle licenses from my country.
These come highly recommended as a first bike and I've had great fun on it since owning it, but it's time to move on to something different.
Insurance was pretty cheap for me, even being considered a "new" rider with effectively zero no-claims bonus it came in at <$400
I am open to trades as mentioned, but I'm not really sure what i'm looking for...definitely NO PROJECT BIKES/NON-RUNNERS or suchlike.
If there's anything else, give me a shout and i'll get back to you asap.
I would be willing to deliver the bike (within a reasonable distance) to a buyer with a deposit and money for gas and U-Haul rental.
