I'm sure this is very boring for everyone living in the big city, but out in hayseedville this is kind of a big deal. For me anyway. I got a new car and I was out taking my sister for a drive, feeling pretty good about myself, and then this reminded me that I'm a nobody going nowhere.

One thing Alberta teaches you is that there is always someone with more money, it's insane really the amount of money here.

A guy in my building just got the exact same one. Was talking to him the other day and asked where he was gonna park it as the condo only comes with one parking spot and he also has a Cayenne Turbo. He says, not a big deal I just bought another parking spot in the building for $42K. lol

IIRC if its the one in Medicine Hat that i'm thinking about, the owner won it and is currently selling it (or atleast he will be so i've heard)

Yeah I wondered if anyone would pick up on that subtle nudge to look at what I drive. Pretty happy with it so far. It's a lot different going from riding high in the truck to sitting on the ground. And being 4000lbs lighter with more horsepower is a different feeling too.

It's no Ferrari though.

No offense, ZL1 is nice but I 100% agree. The last sentence in your original post had me laughing though, pretty sure that's happened to most people, I know it definitely has to me, just never thought to put it into words

Who knows maybe someone rolling in their new SS got that same feeling from being behind you :burnout:

I saw two 458's today, a white one on my way into work, and a grey one at lunch hour. Younger looking lady driving the grey one, surprised me a bit. Both owners drove them like grannies haha

So that explains why it's ALWAYS parked around the TD shopping area.

To SKR, I saw you pull up behind me after I turned onto Parkview Drive from 20th. That's a pretty sharp looking car you're driving!

I saw a red 458 yesterday as well haha. Headed west on Crowhild by McMahon at 5:45. There were a lot of nice cars out yesterday... They're finally able to stop hiding from winter.

Parkview Drive, 20th Ave, checks out. Awesome car. Want to trade for a few days?

I had a girl compliment my car. Then she rode away on her bicycle, because she might have been 14 at the most.

The one in the hat is indeed from a contest he won, nice car, but I wouldn't drive it myself. I would just sell and buy something cheaper, and pocket a pile of cash. What are these worth anyways, 250-300k?

Yep they are out! Yesterday I was stuck behind a Murcielago with an Independent Skateboard Trucks license plate cover, fairly young guy driving.

Yup I have seen far too many of these in the aspen area now. Last week a black one WOT from 69th to bow and I creamed myself. Unfortunately my car was in shop so no dashcam.

This was yesterday morning

And what makes you think the owner doesn't have a pile of cash to begin with? Just because he won it doesn't automatically mean he's poor... Heck, if he's driving around in a beater, there's a good chance that maybe he's actually one of the truly rich people (i.e. cash) and not leveraged up the ying yang like many others.

And do poor people even buy $100 lottery tickets (assuming this is how he won it)?
