So Ive decided to go with a 255/30/19 on my 19x10s, I plan to run the car very low so I need some stretch.

On the front Im running 19x8.5, should I go with a 225/35 or 235/35? I want fronts close to the rear in terms of how much rubber is showing..

thanks

Willitfit.com you can plug in tires sizes and it shows you what it will look like with your wheel specs. Also different brand tires will run skinnier or fatter so keep that in mind

Damn man the site is willTHEYfit.com. You made me open a site blocked by my company's firewall labelled as "pornography"!

There's also rimtuck wheel database (http://rimtuck.com/), it's legit unlike willitfit

edit: no MR2s with 19s up front tho :/

I run a 265/30/19 on my 19x10 and there is a little stretch already, so your 255/30/19 would be stretched.

I have 235/35/19 on my 19x8.5 in the front and there is almost no stretch. Still looks fine compared to my rears though.

I would say if you want to match your rear stretch, you should at least go with the 225/35/19.

BTW, I'm on Hankook V12 Evos, since I know different brands vary in width slightly.

The question is... will it fit?

awesome, thanks realazy, that's what I'm trying to figure out. I want the stretch to match front and back and I think if I run a 255/30 back and a 235/35 front the fronts will look chunkier.

so torn.. do I go 265/30/19 235/35/19 or 255/30/19 and 225/35/19. Fitment is flush but not crazy flush so I'm not sure if I'll need all that stretch.

Execution Perfection.

Why run a 30 in rear and 35 up front? If it's sizing availability, get 35's all around.
It's the size of your offset not the size of your sidewall that everyone wets themselves over.

www.tyrestretch.com is the best site out there.

Because a 225/35 and a 255/30 has a closer match in terms of actual sidewall height.

A 255/35 is 0.8 inches larger in diameter than a 225/35 whereas a 255/30 is 0.2 inches smaller in diameter than a 225/35.

With wheels, I rely on thinmyster's specs and info. Despite his troll on this thread, he's got good info.

this is tires.. not wheels.

Do 225/35 and 255/30 if you need a bit more stretch for clearance, or 235/35 and 265/30 if you have the room. Both those set ups will leave you with virtually identical sidewall heights and angles. The differences are around 2mm so close you would not be able to visualize it once mounted...
